Many a person interested in Runes, especially in a divination capacity, will be drawn to the few rune sets, cards, or books widely available that are unfortunately devoid of much credibility. Better by far than wasting money on a set of 25 cards or stones, or a book on such, is to make your own set of a little more traditionally accurate 24 tines or sticks from a fruit or nut tree which capture the life force, and amplify such through the runes carved by your own hand. These can be freshly made each time, then burnt after use. For a slightly more modern take, making a permanent set like this will be an extension of you.
